Frequently Asked Questions For Schools & Nurseries

CAN YOU ACCOMDATE SIBLING PHOTOS?


Not a problem, we can schedule in ‘other’ siblings prior to the start of the actual school day or after the actual school day with an appointment based system. Whatever works best for your school!


DO YOU TAKE CLASS PHOTOS?

Yes absolutely. These can be done in formal rows or more relaxed in the playground.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

About two minutes per child, although each child varies. Some children are more than happy to have their picture taken, they are confident and may even joke around but we always get the perfect shot. Other kids need a wee bit of time to warm up to feel a bit more comfortable, and for these kids we have an extra dose of patience and understanding and you will still have lovely images to choose from.

ARE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS DBS (CRB) CHECKED?

Yes, all of our photographers have enhanced DBS certificates.

ARE WE EXPECTED TO COUNT MONEY?

No, there are a variety of different methods of our collecting orders from parents that are specifically designed to minimise any administration of orders and monies. Please ask us direct for more details.

ARE YOU ABLE TO TAKE OTHER TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY FOR US?

We can take PR, prospectus and website images. Don’t forget we offer 5 additional photography hours free as part of your photography package which can be used for sports days, school plays, or school days out! All photos from this are either given to the school or sold at 100% profit to the school.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PARENTS TO RECEIVE THEIR IMAGES?

All orders are processed at the same time once the cut off date has elapsed. (Ordering online is for your convenience only – it will not make your order any quicker.) For orders placed with ‘Delivery to a school address’ we aim to dispatch to the school within 28 days of the return date stated on the order form or online gallery expiry date. The school will then distribute the orders. For orders placed with ‘delivery to a home address’ we aim to dispatch within 28 days. If you have not received your home delivery order with this 28 day period, please email us on info@immi-school-photography.co.uk or call 0844 351 1397 and a member of our team will be more than happy to help.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR COMMISSION?

Commission payments will be made either by BACS or cheque within 8 weeks of the photoshoot.

IS THERE A FEE FOR DIGITAL COPIES OF PORTRAITS THAT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL ONTO OUR SCHOOLS SYSTEM?

No we provide the digital images of portraits as part of our complimentary service. However, SIMS users will require a license file form Capita to enable the images to populate your database automatically – Capita do charge for this license.

OUR SCHOOL REQUIRES A LICENSE FOR OUR SIMS IMAGES, WHO DO I CONTACT?

We do not provide the licenses for SIMS, please contact CAPITA, their help desk on 0844 892 2407.

DO YOU COVER MY AREA?

Yes, we have national coverage.

HOW CAN WE MAKE A BOOKING WITH IMMI SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?

Frequently Asked Questions For Parents

WILL YOU ENSURE MY CHILD HAS DONE UP THEIR TIE?

We will do our best to encourage the children to straighten themselves up working with the class teachers and TA’s before their photos, and will offer help where needed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PARENTS TO RECEIVE THEIR IMAGES?

I’VE MISSED THE DEADLINE…CAN I STILL ORDER?

Yes, don’t worry, we can process all late orders and deliver them straight to your door - simply contact us. Please note an additional fee of £6 will be required to cover a search fee and postage. 
Allow up-to 28 days for late orders to be produced.

CAN I ORDER A DIFFERENT SIZE?

As our system is automated we can only produce the sizes available. If you require a different size, why not order our digital download, you can print this at any size, as many times as you like.


I DON’T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT, HOW CAN I PAY?

You don’t need a PayPal account, PayPal acts as a merchant service and you can pay using a credit/debit card.

HOW DO I SAVE MY DIGITAL DOWNLOAD AS A JPEG?

Your JPEG image/s are embedded within the ZIP format. Simply open the ZIP link to download/unpack your images. 
Some tablets and phones are unable to save JPEG images to their phones from a ZIP format without the help of an App. Please read the instructions below on how to do this.

Visit the IOS App Store and download iZip (free). Once downloaded go back to your email and press the (ZIP format) link, this will open Safari and give you the option to “Open in iZip”. Press this and click “OK” to extract your images. Once extracted you can then select your image/s and press save at the bottom of your screen. Visit the Play Store and download WinZip (free). Once downloaded open the app, allow access to your photos and press “try Free”. You can then go back to your email and press the (Zip format) link, this will open your web browser and give you the option to “Open in WinZip”. Once open you can then select your photograph/s and save them to your device.

HOW LONG ARE MY CHILD’S PHOTOGRAPHS KEPT ON YOUR SYSTEM?

We hold all portrait photographs for at least one full academic year.

MY PHOTOGRAPHS HAVE ARRIVED AND THEY ARE DAMAGED OR HAVE PART OF THE ORDER MISSING, HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

CAN I BUY A DIGITAL IMAGE?


Digital images are only available for individual portrait photographs. We do not offer digital copies of any group photographs for sale. All digital image sales are final.
